A Display in the Church

For this Jubilee weekend, with the museum open each day from 2.30 to 4.30, we have an added display in the church. This photographic display looks at how the church was during various reigns, how the church marked royal events, whether it be coronations, jubilees or the inevitable death of past monarchs, with a few extra photos around the village of Royal events or items we have in the museum.

The church will be open during the long weekend and will be well worth a visit for an absolutely lovely flower festival is in place. The many floral displays pay tribute to many aspects of the Queen’s 60 years as our monarch.

Another display looks Christmassy but don’t be surprised for it commemorates the Christmas broadcasts that the Queen makes each year.

These are just two of many displays. Make sure you take a look at some point over the weekend.
