At Market Lavington Museum we are pleased to receive records of fairly recent events. We have just been given a collection of photos about the barrel rolling competition which was a part of the 2005 village festival. Here’s an example. Oh, there might be some young people here horrified to realise they are already potential museum exhibits.
Sadly we are not up on the names of people, or of their teams. We are fairly sure the blue team was representing a Market Lavington pub. But really we need help here to sort out who is who.

I remember doing the job of transporting the barrels to the starting line for this way back in about 1983’ish. I had left the village by 2005 though.
