In Market Lavington Museum, we have a doll’s house made by the local Honeychurch firm. See Honeychurch Doll’s House and A locally made doll’s house. We also have their poster and catalogue from about 1996, so we are able to get an idea of their range of products and the ethos of the company.

Quality, durability and environmental sustainability were key principles which they sought to apply to the manufacture of their products and they believed in using recycled packaging and sharing their wood offcuts with local schools. They designed their toys to last for generations and to be repairable if necessary.
They made various styles of house, some of which were in kit form for enthusiastic DIY doll’s house hobbyists.

The firm was located on Ledge Hill, on the outskirts of Market Lavington.
