In our previous blog entry, we took another look at James Mullings, basket maker, who moved from Devizes to Market Lavington towards the end of his life. He had a son and also a grandson called William, who were both basket makers in Market Lavington. James’ son, William Henry, features with his wife, in a photograph we have at the museum.

William Henry ran his business on the High Street, opposite The Green Dragon public house.
Do come to the museum (Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons and some bank holidays, between May and October) to see our basket making display.
