The donor of photos from Lavington’s festival in 2004, supplied us with pictures of the many events taking place on 17th July. In our previous blog, we saw the children in medieval costumes arriving at the Elisha field. There were activities for all ages over there. The youngsters enjoyed a disco in the marquee.

A boules competition was laid on outside. We are not too sure about the role of balloons in this!

There was a coconut shy and a splat the rat game, with some archery going on behind.

A rather less greasy version of the slippery pole provided more competition and fun.

It was a well planned and busy occasion and it will take another blog entry to see the rest of it.
