The King Family

Market Lavington has had its Kings for a very long time. One family, who lived at the Easterton end of Market Lavington High Street were painters, glaziers and plumbers. Our photo shows three generations of the King family painting the gates at Erlestoke House which is now the prison.

The photo is thought to date from about 1890. Unfortunately, we do not have the people on the photo named, so below is a gallery of Kings. Can you help identify just who is who?

If you can help us put names to these faces, we’d be delighted to hear from you.
